Shipping & Delivery Policy for Plant Roopan

Thank you for choosing Plant Roopan! We take pride in delivering healthy, green companions straight from our nurseries to your home. Because shipping live plants requires specialized handling, weather monitoring, and secure packaging, our shipping process is slightly different from standard e-commerce websites.

Please review our policy to understand how your order is processed, packaged, and shipped.

1. Processing Time & Dispatch Schedule

• Order Processing: Standard orders (pots, tools, seeds) are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders containing live plants may take 2-4 business days to prepare, as we carefully select, check, and hydrate the plants before packing.

• Safe Dispatch Days: To prevent live plants from getting stuck in transit hubs over weekends, we generally dispatch plant orders from Monday to Thursday. Orders placed on Friday or Saturday may be held and shipped on Monday for the plant’s safety.

• Tracking: Once your order is handed over to our courier partner, a tracking link will be shared with you via Email and SMS.

2. Specialized Plant Packaging

We have designed a multi-layer secure packaging system to ensure your plants arrive in pristine condition:

• Root Protection: The soil/root ball is safely secured to retain moisture and prevent soil spillage during transit.

• Breathe-Easy Boxes: Our custom-designed corrugated boxes include ventilation holes allowing the plant to breathe while protecting it from external pressure.

• Secured Pots: Pots are locked in place inside the box so they do not shift or crush the foliage, even if the box is tilted.

3. Shipping Charges & Free Delivery

• Standard Shipping: Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of the order and the delivery pin code.

• Free Shipping Threshold: We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders above ₹999 nationwide.

• COD Charges: If Cash on Delivery (COD) is available and selected, a nominal convenience fee of ₹ 49 will be applied.

4. Estimated Delivery Timelines

While we partner with top-tier courier services (like BlueDart, Delhivery, and Xpressbees) to ensure fast delivery, approximate timelines are as follows:

• Metro Cities: 2 to 4 business days post-dispatch.

• Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities: 3 to 6 business days post-dispatch.

• Remote Regions: 5 to 8 business days post-dispatch.

Weather Warning: During extreme weather conditions (severe heatwaves or heavy monsoons), we may temporarily hold plant shipments to prevent damage during transit. We will keep you updated via email in such cases.

5. Delivery Exceptions & Address Accuracy

• Incorrect Address: Plant Roopan will not be held responsible for transit delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided during checkout. Live plants cannot survive multiple delivery attempts.

• Unattended Deliveries: Please ensure someone is available to receive the package. If a plant is returned to the hub because the customer was unavailable, it drastically reduces the plant’s survival rate and will not be eligible for a refund.

6. Damaged on Arrival?

If your package looks heavily crushed or damaged upon delivery, please take a picture of the box before opening it. Follow our Refund Policy and share the unboxing video/photos within 48 hours to claim a free replacement.
